On disney Pixar cars the game, what does it mean by hard setting. and how do you change it. please tell me!?

Ive had a look at some cheat websites and it says to unlock DJ you need to put it on hard setting. How do you change it to hard setting.

i dunno dont have the game but im guessing u have to finish the game on like easy or normal difficulty first thats the case with most games
